Raquel Thomas is an interior designer, construction management professional and lifelong Detroit resident with a passion for design, construction, and real estate development. Raquel holds a Bachelor of Science in Interior Architecture from Lawrence Technological University and a Master of Science in Construction Management from Eastern Michigan.

She started her career as a Kitchen and Bath designer and has designed over 50+ projects throughout the metro area. More recently, she has been working in the commercial construction industry in various roles on significant projects in Detroit.

She is the mother of a 22-year-old daughter who shares her passion for design and studies Product Design at the College for Creative Studies. Raquel enjoys traveling, mid-century modern design, reading, cooking, antique shopping and spending time with family and friends. Raquel believes that a well-designed space has a positive effect on how you live, work and interact with people.
